The Upper Corentyne Chamber of Commerce (UCCCI), on Monday,Scarpe Adidas Stan Smith Scontate, launched its Essay and Debating competitions in ten schools in the Upper Corentyne area.According to President of UCCCI,Nike Air Max 90 Cheap Wholesale, Vishnu Doerga, the focus of these competitions is to raise awareness about the negative effects of early sexual activity involving school children,Nike Air Max Flair Ireland, an issue which keeps coming to the fore more frequently.Vishnu DoergaDoerga stated that UCCCI is very pleased with the support of the United States Agency For International Development (USAID),Nike Air Max Invigor Ireland, who has partnered to help in the reduction and prevention in this regard. Close collaboration with the Department of Education in Region 6 has allowed for smooth implementation and participation so far.These competitions are part of a wider drive to sensitise the citizens in the area and are also aimed at getting the students’ perspectives and solutions on an issue which may affect them and their peers.USAID had donated over US$20,000 to the Chamber in August to fight underage sex among persons in the Corentyne area as well as enhance the #63 Beach,Scarpe Adidas Superstar Miglior Prezzo, and this competition is one way in which the Chamber is using those funds, since attractive monetary prizes are in store for the winners.The Primary and Secondary Schools Essay competition run from September 19-30,Adidas Nmd Uomo Saldi, while the Debating competitions run from September 19 to October 30.The topic is: “What can I do to help my community address the issue of early sexual activity?”Students can contact their respective schools on the Upper Corentyne area for more details.
