Some came from different churches, and some from the Red Cross and from youth programmes.Yesterday’s graduation ceremony also marked the last for Mrs Sheran Harper, who from next week will take on the position of World Wide Parenting Trainer of Trainers.Minister Nadir made reference to the many children in society today who are having children of their own.He explained that this should not be the end for those young people who have found themselves in these situations, and suggested that the family institution should be there to help those young parents through that difficult part of their lives.He made reference to the African proverb “It takes a village to raise a child”, indicating that the community has a role in the development of every child in the neighbourhood.
