It seems as if there is no rest for the dead in Guyana.There are increased calls for something to be done about the city’s drainage following news that several burials had to be postponed because of rains.Several burials at Le Repentir Cemetery, the biggest of its kind in the city, had to be postponed yesterday because of the flooded grounds.The funerals included that of Terence Holder,NFL Jerseys Outlet From China, the 73 year-old well-known broadcaster and former Deputy General Manager of the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T).While Lyken’s Funeral Parlour reported that only one burial was affected, it was Sandy’s Funeral Parlour which was forced to postpone three interments with four more scheduled for today.Merriman’s Funeral Homes also reported a “couple” of deferrals.Another burial that was also reportedly affected is that of retired Assistant Commissioner of Police and Deputy Chief Immigration Officer, Carlotta Dodson (D.S.M.).
