The death of a young man in the Guyana Water Incorporated reservoir on Mandela Avenue, near the Shirley Field-Ridley Square, should serve as a deterrent to youths who despite repeated warnings, continue to use the facility as a swimming pool.The GWI reservoir on Mandela Avenue was the scene of yesterday’s drowning.The young man who up to last evening was still unidentified drowned around 16:00 hours yesterday.Reports reaching this newspaper stated that the youth and some of his friends were swimming in the reservoir,cheap jerseys, when he went down in the nine-foot deep waters and did not resurface after several minutes.His friends who missed him reportedly panicked and raised an alarm.
